Critical neurological and neurosurgical patients from any service of our center are received, in the Intensive Care service, as well as neurocritical patients are received after coordination with the service. The different neurological and neurosurgical pathologies that lead the patient to special intensive care requirements are treated (Cerebrovascular Ischemic and Hemorrhagic Disease, Neuromuscular Diseases, such as Myasthenia Gravis, Guillaín-Barré Syndrome, Epileptic Status, Severe Sepsis of the Central Nervous System, as well as, the management of the patient in a Coma state and the diagnosis of Brain Death, in addition to the complicated Neurosurgical patient). We constitute a National Reference Unit in Neuro-Intensivism.

We work a multidisciplinary team,made up of professionals dedicated to neurointensivism. We have 8 beds with specialized equipment for the management of different neurological and neurosurgical pathologies.
